Mickey 3D - November 10, 2009 - Showcase Fnac Part Dieu, Lyon
We continue to showcase once again with their editions Lyon. Surprise that day ... no line up at FNAC. Yet one might have assumed that there would be people to greet Mickey 3D , therefore one hour ahead did not seem too ... It does not matter, there is plenty to do in the Part-Dieu!
After fifteen minutes of wandering the shelves of the FNAC test microphones seem to come from the CD radius where our feet have not yet brought. Getting closer, we discover that much of the radius is condemned and a mini-stage is set in the middle. No forum for today ...
Perhaps the organizers were they afraid that everyone could not come back like that was the case for Nada Surf last year. Anyway ... The showcase will take place in the middle of the FNAC, a first for us!
A few minutes before the announced time of the showcase, we are here directly from the scene to sneak near a speaker. Mickaël Furnon finally arrived with ten minutes late due to the extension repetitions at Transbordeur (and maybe a few jams to reach the Part-Dieu). Let's go for a quarter of an hour's last album, The Great Escape, acoustics.
Eiffel - November 12, 2009 - Showcase Fnac Bellecour, Lyon
Change of FNAC for this showcase: Executive Bellecour to see (and hear) Eiffel ! Not knowing the group too, we were not sure what to expect ... The surprise was very good: a very nice group, affordable and very pleasant to listen to songs.
Eiffel presents five songs from his latest album, For All Time, released a month earlier. A foretaste of the concert that evening at OCC.

Emmanuelle Seigner - February 25, 2010 - Showcase Fnac Bellecour, Lyon
It is well known organization showcases at FNAC is an abomination, and this is no exception to the rule with a first waiting outside (as almost always at FNAC Bellecour) but also a Safety Manager (read here: a nice little doggie to qi higher than an oyster, without wanting to insult the molluscs) unable to explain why he had to retreat while allowing people to embed arrived later in the daughter of waiting.
In short, once back in that small room where our Edirol R-09 made its debut some two years ago for a showcase of Olivia Ruiz, waiting a few minutes bring us to the arrival of Emmanuelle Seigner , Mathilde's sister, and wife of Roman Polanski. His previous album, in English, called Ultra Orange & Emmanuelle is now supplanted in his discography by Crazy, opus written by Keren Ann and Doris, who is here presented by some whose eponymous titles and played twice Mad.
We may regret the fact that on its tripod are the lyrics it does not seem to master 100% yet, and his apparent shyness towards the public, but at the same time she is not alone in this If all I know ... Hopefully all this will have been forgotten in Lyon on May 27 which will be followed for its concert at the Transporter.
Rose - March 24, 2010 - Showcase Fnac Part Dieu, Lyon
The series showcases continues, this time with the French singer Pink . At a time when the showcase was to begin, many people still waiting in the hallway where the forum will be held mini-concert, but still no trace of the artist. By questioning a vigil on the delay, we learn that the concert was always intended to 18h and not at 17:30 as shown on the site of Fnac and programs. Or ...
A few minutes later Rose comes to scales what drives us back to guards that we were attending to these rehearsals. Why not ... but the forum is not closed, we heard the same way that we have fallen 3m or not. A new very good experience of intelligence passed security guards.
You end up back in the room with a little ahead of the announced time (well ... that announced that did not correspond to the originally scheduled time of course), the showcase can begin: the single of the time opens ball. After 2 or 3 pieces (you will hear when listening to the recording below), the drummer for Pink arrives and offers him a book Mr. and Mrs. (I forget which ...) he had just buy in the store. It will play a few songs, and restarts continue shopping.
To conclude this showcase, tubes, and Ciao Bella's List, are output as well as this song only on the limited edition of The Souvenir Under My Bangs, The Frangines.
Soma - April 17, 2010 - Showcase Fnac Part Dieu, Lyon
Now here's a new record in the series showcases of FNAC Lyon, here is the delivery Soma where we went on the advice of Arnold. And the discovery was very interesting, with a kind of rhythmic pop rock that is easily retains We had something else planned that night and unfortunately were therefore unable to attend their concert at Ninkasi Kafe. Too bad it was free!
The proposed registration below is unfortunately in mono as the son of our mics we have still been a problem ... We preferred to copy the voice that had no problem with that full interference so that the listening enjoyable. You may be able to hear some vibrations due to resonance of the snare caused by the large volume of returns.

Heads Straight - July 13, 2008 - Musilac Festival, Aix-Les-Bains
Aix les Bains was still welcomed for this festival Musilac, probably one of the successful festivals every year to keep a poster that is likely to appeal to everyone, and also with headliners bringing the local pleupleus who are all happy to see someone they see or hear on NRJ on M6 (read through it to the 2008 edition: Mika).
But this last day of Musilac was for us the more interesting with the appearance of John Butler Trio, we have already seen at the Olympia in Paris a year earlier dates for two monstrously good, and was scheduled just before the appearance on the same stage Heads Straight (we meet again a week later on our way on July 19 in the first part of Dionysus in Vienna), and this is the only day we visited.
If here is for rain and a few oddballs usual inherent in an outdoor festival, the record is pretty good and you can also hear a small appearance of Miss Acacia (Miss Olivia Ruiz) on Zigo. Beware also, these files are in 24bit/48kHz, so some players may find it difficult to read. I personally use Aimp and he reads them with no problem (and handles with impressive speed when you're used to Winamp for several years).
Daniel Darc - April 10, 2008 - Showcase Fnac Bellecour, Lyon
Daniel Darc second recording made by us. Theoretically it should have preceded a showcase concert that evening at Transbordeur Villeurbanne; thing that will not happen, the concert has been postponed to May 13, 2008 then. The passage through the "Virgin Radio Tour" was probably the cause of the postponement.
We still had not then received our Church Audio microphones, this recording has been made using our unique internal microphones Edirol recorder in a room filled with FNAC relatively amateurs.
Former lead singer of Taxi Girl, Daniel Darc retains his solo career in the same writing style: simple but very effective. No need to look for hours on his texts for understanding! It changes most of the French authors. After an absence of ten years during the 90s, Darc found success, both critical and public, with the Creve Coeur abum released in 2004. It will work eventually with Cali on the song Poor Boy and participate in the tour of Raiders of Another World.
Daniel Darc - March 21, 2008 - The Transporter, Villeurbanne
This is an "old" record we have here, dating from just a week before the arrival of our Church Audio microphones, so it is made with only the internal microphones of a Edirol R-09. Provided should not be afraid quality level, because the location of the recording was optimum.
The Transporter room has two general deployment options: the "long" position with the entire room to the public and the "short" position with the pit completely accessible but has only a few rows of bleachers that are, to the level of the mixer.
And it is precisely at the left of the mixer, in last place in the standing position as an "I" that this concert was recorded with the Edirol in a small pouch at the torso, which allowed avoid many plaudits and get the sound as clean as possible.
This concert was part of an evening of "Virgin Radio Tour," also starring Dø and a live concert but part of their antenna.
Another source also exists for this concert since another type was present right at our side, by source against which was not broadcast but was done with it by against real external microphones.
